A hallmark of chronic stress and trauma is forgetting one’s self, becoming dis-embodied, and compartmentalized. Yoga Nidrā is the healing balm that provides a nourishing relaxation into the embodiment of wholeness.

Research has proven that emotions can be stored in the body, and lead to a variety of symptoms. One study found that patients with chronic pain often have a history of trauma and that the pain may be related to the body’s response to the trauma. Many modalities help with release of emotional suffering stored in the body.
